Shaun C. Tyrance, Ph.D.

Shaun Tyrance is the Team Clinician for the Kansas City Chiefs. Shaun earned his Ph.D. in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds a Master’s in Sport Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He was a four-year varsity letter winner in football at Davidson College where he played quarterback.

Shaun served as an academic advisor for football at North Carolina State University, and the full-time Sport Psychology Consultant at Chip Ganassi Racing in NASCAR and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a consultant, Shaun has worked with numerous college and professional athletes. 

Nyaka NiiLampti, Ph.D.

Nyaka NiiLampti is the Vice President of Wellness and Clinical Services at the National Football League (NFL). Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of Player Wellness at the NFL Players Association. Before the NFLPA, she served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Queens University of Charlotte, where she also serves as Faculty Athletic Representative to the NCAA.

She was a four-year varsity letter winner in track and field at Princeton University.  She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Temple University, and has a Master’s in Sport Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Her experiences have included teaching, clinical work, and serving in a consultative capacity in a variety of settings, including high schools, colleges, universities, and large sports organizations.
